About

Allegretto is an outgrowth of Allegro, The Chamber Orchestra of Lancaster. Allegretto’s mission is to give the youth of Lancaster County a joyful, high-quality orchestral experience, unlike any other orchestral experience available in the region. Unique to Allegretto is its coaching approach. Professionals will sit in on selected rehearsals, playing, as well as offering instruction to students. Allegretto’s inaugural season will be during the 2009-2010 school year.
